Gateway Park Beach

Beach

Located at the Tawas River Mouth, Gateway Park was built in 1982 to preserve and stabilize the river mouth property for recreational use and public access. The name Gateway was chosen because the park is the first major regional exposure to the Lake Huron Coastal system. In 2010 a 300-foot fishing pier was added to the park.
