Tawas Point State Park

Beach

Tawas Point State Park is located on Lake Huron in Tawas Bay in Northern Michigan. The parks sits on a sand spit and narrow sandy beaches line both sides of the point. The water is shallow and warm for swimming. Located within the park is also the Tawas Point Lighthouse, which while it has been remodeled several times, it still represents a true Victorian-era style station built on the Great Lakes.
