Kakabeka Falls Beach is located within Kakabeka Provincial Park, a short drive west of Thunder Bay. The falls are part of the Kaministiquia River. The park's 40 metre falls have earned it the nickname 'Niagara of the North'. Visitors can swim at a long, sandy beach in a buoyed swimming area located above the falls. There are change facilities located here.
