Lac Philippe, Plage Breton

Beach

(English follows) La plage Breton est la plus grande des trois plages du lac Philippe, situé à l’extrémité nord du Parc de la Gatineau. Les services incluent des sauveteurs tous les jours, de 10 h à 18 h pendant l’été; des toilettes, des cabines pour se changer et des tables de pique-nique accessibles à tous. La location de canots, pédalos et kayaks est aussi disponible. Veuillez noter que les boissons alcoolisées et les animaux domestiques ne sont pas permis sur la plage.

Breton Beach is the largest of three beaches on lac Philippe, located on the north side of the Gatineau Park. Key services include lifeguards on duty from 10 am to 6 pm during summer; universally accessible toilets, change rooms and picnic tables; and canoe, paddleboat and kayak rentals. Note that alcoholic beverages and pets are not permitted on the beach.
