Omemee Beach is a 150 metre, beautiful sandy beach on the shore of Pigeon River. The river begins at the base of Pigeon Lake, a 27-kilometre lake in the Kawartha Lakes region. Located in the small Omemee Municipal Park, enjoy picnic shelters, a playground, and a skate park at this secluded spot. While you're in Omemee (childhood hometown of musician Neil Young) visit the Youngtown Rock and Roll Museum and celebrate music from the '50s, '60s, and '70s!
