Siskiwit Bay (Cornucopia)

Beach

Located west of the Apostle Islands National Seashore along Wisconsin Highway 13, the town of Cornucopia offers a great little stop and amazing beach to visit. Long and sandy, this beach is a must see for anyone traveling along this stretch of Northern Wisconsin.

Although lacking most amenities, the beach is bustling during the summer months with art crawls, flea markets and fireworks. Additionally, the beach has an artesian well on its northern end. The shallow and protected waters of Siskiwit Bay make for a warmer, shallower place to swim than most of Lake Superior.

Please take a look at all the posted regulations during your visit. Prior to enjoying your day at the beach or on the water, please check the local weather forecast and be attentive to changing conditions. Questions can be directed to the town of Cornucopia at 715-742-3356.
