The Washington Ave beach is a small, sandy beach that is conveniently located adjacent to the Apostle Island ferry dock.
Parking and public restrooms are available near the beach.
This is a perfect place to relax a bit while waiting for your ferry ride or to let your kids play around in the water and sand while visiting Bayfield for the day.
No dogs are allowed on the town beach and the beach is closed between midnight and 5 am.
Bayfield has a full range of dining, camping and lodging options to consider if you are making a full day or night of your visit.
