Chippawa Creek Conservation Area is a picturesque spot located within the Niagara region. The area is home to a wide variety of wildlife that you can spot while hiking along the 1.1 km trail. The trail has a boardwalk and is wheelchair accessible, with plenty of shady spots for a nice picnic lunch. The park also offers the public access to Welland River and Dils Lake. The lake is a 10 hectare man-made reservoir and has become the ideal location for summer recreation! Stop by for boating, swimming, and fishing. Participate in the annual Bass fishing derby held in July, or just a casual cast off of the wheelchair-accessible fishing piers. The lake is filled with Large-Mouth Bass, Crappie, Carp and many other species. What will you catch?
