Have you ever wanted to visit Canada’s west coast? Well, you can experience a taste of British Columbia (B.C.) right here in Ontario! J. Henry Tweed Conservation Area is considered by many to be reminiscent of a B.C. rainforest. This 16 acre park is home to beautiful forests with footbridges and paths winding their way throughout. The 3 kms of trials link to a converted railway -- the Russell Township New York Central Fitness Trail — an ideal cycling and rollerblading destination. In the wintertime, strap on a pair of cross-country skis for an unforgettable experience. J. Henry Tweed Conservation Area is a real gem in Eastern Ontario!

I remember there being clouds in the sky that were black around the edges and white at the centre. And as I looked down towards the water I could see the clouds in the water as well. I was moving slowly in the canoe. If you can picture the clouds above and the clouds below – it’s the closest feeling I’ve ever had, or may have, to being in heaven.
