Lyn Valley Conservation Area is a small, but very popular park near Brockville, Ontario. While it was once a gravel pit, it has now been successfully transformed into a nature getaway. The park contains a spring-fed lake surrounded by a sandy beach. Plenty of picnic tables are available for an afternoon picnic, so pack your basket and head out to “The Pit”!

Our first stop was Cobourg from Oshawa, the next stop was in Picton and we finally made it to Kingston and that was a proud moment for me because I had never cycled that far before.
