Merlin Conservation area is a charming 7 acre day-use park situated nearby Lake Erie. Within its boundaries is the McKinlay Memorial Forest — a forest of trees growing in memory of loved ones. There is also a short walking path within the conservation area and a large open field that is being re-naturalized with the planting of new fauna. Soon this region will be a forested and tallgrass prairie habitat.

I enjoyed the warm blue waters in the summer and the changing colours and features the rest of the year. My favourite place is still on the shores of Lake Erie at Rondeau.
