Rowsom’s Tilbury West Conservation Area

Park

Rowsom’s Tilbury West Conservation Area is a 62 acre park operated by the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority (LTVCA). This park was acquired by the LTVCA in the late 1970s to help protect significant bird, amphibian, and reptile habitats. A large Carolinian Forest and stream habitat dominate the landscape. In fact, the park has been designated as a Memorial Forest site. Stop by for a shaded picnic, hike along the trails, or fish along Big Creek. There are also group camping sites located along the trails. Rowsom’s Tilbury West offers visitors the opportunity to truly immerse themselves in nature and experience the importance of protecting natural habitats!
