Pigeon River Headwaters Conservation Area

Park

Pigeon River Headwaters is a beautiful 308 acre conservation area located within the Kawartha Lakes region. The park is situated, in part, on the Oak Ridges Moraine, with plenty of sweeping trails and meadows to explore. The west side of the park is composed of a wetland habitat, with a fabulous boardwalk so that visitors can get up-close and personal with this valuable natural resource. This boardwalk is considered to be the highlight of Pigeon Rivers Headwaters, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Pigeon River Valley. Along the way, you might spot minks, beavers, or turtles that make their home in this watery habitat.
