Located just North of Pennoyer Park Beach along the Pike Bicycle Trail, Alford Park Beach offers a very nice beach to enjoy Lake Michigan in the Kenosha area. This long beach offers a mix of sandy and rocky areas. Visitors often comment on the smooth and unique stones along the beach that are perfect for skipping. Additionally, it is not uncommon to see artistic stone cairns built by beachgoers.

Ample parking is available in the paved lot off of Highway 32. Additionally a picnic pavilion is located near the parking area. Restrooms and additional picnic tables are available in Alford Park “North” located at 1819 Sheridan Rd, Kenosha, WI 53140 or in Pennoyer Park to the South.

Dogs: prohibited

No fires, grills or glass containers on the beach.

Lifeguards: no lifeguards on duty at the beach, Be sure to swim within your ability

Hours: sunrise until 10pm year round
