McKinley Beach

Beach

The beach is CLOSED for the 2022 season. The City of Milwaukee conducted a study regarding dangerous swim conditions and has plans to make repairs to the beach over the 2022 -2023 winter season and hopes to have McKinley beach reopened for the 2023 summer season.

Located on Lake Michigan, McKinley Beach has 737 feet of beach area. There is a playground, picnic tables, and a lot of green space to enjoy. You can take a quick half-mile walk north and enjoy some of the amenities that Bradford Beach has to offer. McKinley Beach was man-made in the 1980s with rocks from Milwaukee’s deep tunnel project. It is named after President William McKinley.

Please read and obey all posted regulations while enjoying your day at the beach.
