Watercraft Beach

Beach

Located between Mckinley and Bradford Beach along Milwaukee’s Lincoln Memorial Drive, Watercraft Beach, AKA Pebble Beach is an often overlooked gem for those seeking a quieter and less busy beach than the much busier Bradford to the North. Although smaller and less sandy, Watercraft Beach offers the same great views and easy access to restrooms and amenities that the other two beaches surrounding it do. Additionally, this beach has some of the best skipping rocks that you can find anywhere.

The beach originally got its name from the windsurfing rental sheds located at the beach. Although kiteboards and sailboards are no longer for rent at this location, the name has stuck.

Restrooms, concessions and parking are available just to the north at the Moosa’s Burger stand. The restrooms and concessions close during the winter months. Additional (and closer) parking is available along Lincoln Memorial Drive.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach.

The beach is open from 6am-10pm daily.

No lifeguards are on duty at the beach, so be sure to swim within your abilities.

Please read and obey all posted regulations during your visit.

Be sure to check the local weather forecast at: https://www.weather.gov/mkx/ and pay attention to changing weather and water conditions.
