Trails, islands, waterfalls, museums — Rock Glen Conservation Area truly has it all. Admission to the park includes access to the Arkona Lions Museum and Information Centre which is home to devonian era fossils and artifacts. Explore the Carolinian forests by numerous trails and lookout points, over hills that were used to hunt caribou over 10,000 years ago. Rock Glen Conservation Area is also home to a unique island and 11 m high waterfall. The scenery is nothing short of stunning, making this region a popular wedding destination. Many plant and animal species found in this park are distinct to the region, and you can participate in guided hikes and educational programs to learn more about them!

Nearby destinations

I do have a small fear of water so I tend to be far away from the body of water. On that trip I got to get close to the water and it was actually really nice, I had a great time there with friends.
