Terra Cotta Conservation Area is a vast 484 acre natural environment within the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. The park is home to a variety of hiking trails of varying difficulty, guiding visitors through forest, fields, and past lakes and small ponds. In the colder months, some of the trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and the park does provide ski and snowshoe rentals. Keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife that lives within the park, including White-Tailed Deer! Visitors can also participate in the many nature retreats, outdoor education programs, and family programs hosted within the park.

Since that day, I've made it a personal mission to have a stronger connection with Lake Ontario. Now I paddle board on the water all the time, I boat on the water, I take my York boat on the water, I swim on the water. This is exactly why it is so important to create a future where people can safely swim, drink, and fish in the waters that they live in.
